MR. ALEX HARRIS
Brite Star Construction began in 2002 after selling a very successful title insurance agency. Harris has been involved on Padre Island all his life and wanted to see aggressive growth. Quickly, he found there was a need for small affordable town homes. Over the past 14 years, he’s built them primarily on Padre Island and Port Aransas, and the numbers are astounding! Over 390 town homes already built, 50 units are under construction, and an additional 160 are under design and development. as the markets grew, Harris found additional opportunities to partner with other investors and start even more projects. His newest joint ventures have been with Willard Hammonds, III. they have traveled along the east and west coast to explore new ideas to keep Brite Star Construction developments innovative and changing with the times. The end goal is to create the best vacation town home product on our coast. They realize that they must capitalize on having an awesome place that visitors want to come. the prie they take in going beyond what other builders do is noticeable. Customers have their cell phone numbers and even on the weekends, these cell phones are being answered. If there is a problem, Brite Star is there to solve it. If they don’t have integrity, they feel they do not have anything.
